The Mystery of Edwin Drood
Brea Curtis Theatre 2019
Project Details
"The Mystery of Edwin Drood" is a unique and interactive musical comedy where the audience takes on the role of detective. The play presents Charles Dickens' unfinished novel, allowing the audience to vote on the ending, including who the murderer is, leading to a different resolution each performance. It's a raucous, meta-theatrical experience filled with Victorian melodrama and playful audience participation.
Part of my tasks for this project is to provide an overall plot, supervise students in the hang and focus of all lighting and take a hands-on approach with helping the student to prepare appropriate paperwork and execute the design.
